On November 18, 1912 Oliver Fry with his two oldest sons, Tom and Erwin, arrived at the railroad siding in what is known now as Huachuca City. They brought a boxcar with supplies and livestock and made their way to the Fry homestead.
An excellent write up on the Frys in Jac Hein's book.
Close up view of the Fry Recreation Center, left, shows just how big the "dome" actually was in comparison to the larger vehicles (buses) that were parked at the Green Top. The GT Apartment building is on the right. Henry Hauser Museum photo.
